Qatar Visa Online - General information
Qatar e-Visa is an official electronic visa that can be obtained by nationals from eligible countries via a facilitated application process.
The electronic visa to Qatar was launched in 2017 by the government of Qatar with the aim of attracting foreign visitors. Now the Qatar online visa is available for those traveling to Qatar for tourism, transit, and business.
In order to apply online for a Qatar visa, eligible citizens must fill out the application form, attach proper documents, and pay the processing fees. To receive approval, it is not necessary to visit an office either - the PDF document with a valid electronic visa to Qatar will be sent to the email address.
A Qatar online visa allows to stay in the country for 30 days if the purpose of visit is tourism or business, and for 4 days if a person is only transiting through Qatar to another destination.
It is advised that travelers apply at least 5 business days in advance to get an approved online visa for Qatar on time.

*To be eligible for an electronic visa to Qatar, citizens of countries marked with "*" should additionally have one of the documents below:
- a valid tourist or business visa issued by the US, UK, or one of the Schengen member countries (used at least one time to enter the country that issued the visa);
- a GCC residence visa (that has been effective for at least 3 months);
- a permanent residence visa issued by the US, UK, or the EU member countries.
Note: GCC countries passport holders do not need a visa to enter Qatar.
Qatar visa application instruction
The Qatar visa application process can be completed online without any visits to Qatar diplomatic missions. Any device with an internet connection can be used to apply for a Qatar e-Visa, just follow this instruction guide:
- Complete the Qatar online application form. Provide the requested information and make sure there are no errors or mistakes left.
- Attach supporting documents. Digital copies must present all data clearly.
- Make the online payment. Use any of the options - debit/credit card or PayPal.
The application ID code will be delivered to your email address after successful payment. With it, you can check the current status of your Qatar e-Visa application. Once approved, the PDF document of the Qatar electronic visa will be sent to your email address as well.
Qatar e-Visa requirements
